Position: Textile and Silicone Craftsperson
Pay: $18.50-$22.50 for 1099 independent contractors
Location: Buffalo, NY
We are looking for an individual to join our team in creating high-quality adult novelties. This role combines crafting skills with creativity and attention to detail. We value both experience and a willingness to learn, so if you’re eager to expand your skill set, we’d love to meet you.
Primary Responsibilities:

Sewing and Related Activities: Any level of sewing experience is valuable, with extra points if you’ve worked with thicker materials. Tasks include sewing, stuffing, gathering, and attaching plastic components to products using fabric glue.
Skills: Basic to advanced sewing; experience with various fabrics, especially thicker ones, is a plus.

Product Packaging & Order Fulfillment: Verifying the product and order details during packaging, ensuring accuracy, and preparing items for shipment. You’ll also be responsible for labeling and organizing shipping materials.
Skills: Organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure timely and accurate shipping.
Secondary Responsibilities (Optional- Training provided if interested):

Rotary Tool Sanding: Post-processing silicone products using a rotary hand sanding tool. Precision is key, but dexterity and experience aren’t required – you can be trained!
Skills: Ability to handle tools and attention to detail.

Silicone Pouring: In a fast-paced environment, you will measure, mix, pour, and observe silicone products. Mental math skills are a huge help for timing and measurements, but we’ll train you to succeed in this task.
Skills: Detail-oriented, ability to perform mental math, multitasking.

Event Vending (Optional): We occasionally attend events to sell our products in person. If you’re interested, we would love someone to assist with event preparation, work while we’re away, or even attend events with us (or in place of us) to help grow our presence.
Skills: Flexibility, outgoing personality, and willingness to help with events (optional).

Attention to Detail: We pride ourselves on the quality of our products, so you’ll need to check and re-check every component before it leaves the shop.
